Like YouTube, doFlick lets you upload and download short video clips. Unlike the majority of movies on YouTube, the movies on doFlick are devoted to teaching science. DoFlick was founded in 2005 by three graduate students from the University of Maryland.

MapEcos displays air-quality information about industrial facilities in the US. The information appears in the form of an interactive map and comes from the Environmental Protection Agency and—voluntarily—from the facilities themselves.
