Iran prepares to launch observation satellite

Space.com : Today Iran is poised to launch its fourth satellite into space atop a Safir 1B rocket. Fajr (" Dawn”), the country’s first maneuverable spacecraft, is a reconnaissance vehicle that will snap photos of Earth for the next year and a half. Also today Iran is scheduled to meet with United Nations officials in Baghdad to review the country’s nuclear program. Critics in the West fear that Iran’s space activity masks the testing of its ballistic missile technology.
