Washington Post: Two weeks ago, the US Senate’s Democratic leadership dropped provisions in a climate bill that would have tackled climate change. In principle, the White House can now step in, thanks to a 2007 Supreme Court decision that allows the Environmental Protection Agency to regulate greenhouse gases as pollutants.
